London, Curium Data Systems (CDSL), the data management technology and services company, today announced that Velliv, the Danish pension and insurance company has migrated from a mainstream hosted cloud platform onto the Curium SaaS platform.

Velliv had developed strong internal expertise and a high level of satisfaction with Curium, and as part of its broader SaaS strategy wanted to place more of the underlying platform operations with specialist providers. This included areas such as upgrades, environment monitoring and application performance oversight, allowing Velliv’s internal teams to remain focused on data management, controls and business value. The move to the Curium SaaS platform delivered against these objectives.

CDSL has gone to great lengths to ensure that every client can take outsourcing in the direction that they want to. Under the Curium SaaS model, clients can choose how much input and control they want over the configuration of their data and processes.  For some organisations, like Velliv, it is important to retain this in house while others may want to push more of that role onto CDSL.  CDSL handles both ends of the spectrum. For many firms that balance between vendor and client resources may change over time and CDSL can alter its input accordingly.  This eliminates key man risk or resource constraints that the client may encounter over one of their most important assets.
