Curium Launches Integrated EDM and Data Governance Platform

31st October, 2017

London, 31st October, 2017 – Curium Data Systems, the data management technology company, today announced the release of CuriumEDM, its new integrated Enterprise Data Management platform for financial services companies.

CuriumEDM brings together the key elements of Curium’s established Data Quality and Master Data Management process solutions with new ETL, data storage, data governance and data lineage components.  The entire EDM platform brings together a wide range of data management capabilities under a single unified design and architecture.

“From inception, we envisioned that Curium would become a complete data solution for financial services firms and CuriumEDM delivers on that concept.” said Adam Saunders, Product Director at Curium Data Systems. “While the established Curium Data Quality and Master Data Management components are aimed at adding value to a firm’s existing data architecture, CuriumEDM gives firms the option of using Curium as their entire data platform and with some big differences to other vendor solutions.”

CuriumEDM adds ETL and Market Data Adapter modules to the Curium product suite as well as a comprehensive deployment design that marries the ease of use of a flexible schema with the historic data capabilities of more traditional approaches. Combined with the new integrated data governance and data lineage layer that supports the governance framework for the firm, Curium Data Systems considers their EDM platform to bring some big business advantages over traditional solutions.

Andrew Sexton, Sales and Marketing Director at Curium Data Systems added: “With the increasing emphasis on meeting regulation, establishing strong data controls and generally using data more efficiently, firms are looking to combine their core technical architecture with their data governance framework while improving data quality and maintaining good operational oversight.  We think that CuriumEDM will make this integration a lot easier and give firm wide visibility over how the key data sets are used and managed in the business.”
